The 2025 International Conference on Road Tunnel Technology will be grandly held in Chongqing from May 21st to 23rd, 2025. TECHNICAL VISITS

Zengjiayan Bridge Tunnel

As the core project of Chongqing's cross river transportation system, it adopts the form of "bridge tunnel combination" to cross the Jialing River and densely built areas on both sides.

The tunnel passes through 16 existing buildings with a minimum clearance of only 3.5m, and utilizes microseismic blasting and intelligent monitoring technology to achieve millimeter level deformation control. Pioneering the "Bridge Tunnel Rail" multi-dimensional transportation conversion system, achieving efficient traffic flow guidance in five directions. Applying BIM+GIS digital twin technology to achieve intelligent management throughout the entire lifecycle, innovatively adopting the design of "invisible bridge towers" and ecological restoration of tunnel entrances, maximizing the protection of the historical and scenic areas on both sides of the strait.

The project was awarded the China Construction Engineering Luban Award, marking that the construction technology of complex urban bridge and tunnel clusters has reached the international leading level.

CMCT Experimental Park

CMCT Experimental Park has 21 national, provincial and ministerial research and development platforms, including "National Engineering Research Center for Highway Tunnels", "National and Local Joint Engineering Laboratory for Mountain Road Engineering and Disaster Prevention and Reduction", covering all major disciplines of highway traffic construction.

Among them, the "National Engineering Research Center for Highway Tunnels" is a large-scale comprehensive test platform for highway tunnels with the most advanced technology, the largest scale and the most complete projects in China. It has the first domestic multi-functional engineering test system for traffic tunnels, large-scale structural thermal mechanical coupling three-dimensional test system, underwater tunnel construction technology test system, 200m-1:1 solid tunnel test system, 1:1 solid immersed tube tunnel test system, and suspension tunnel engineering model test system.
